Can I always take my hand luggage on board the plane?

Each passenger is guaranteed to have hand luggage, while the amount of luggage, or the permissible size and weight, may differ depending on the airline. Occasionally, passengers will have to leave their luggage in the hold for free due to the limited capacity of the luggage lockers on board the aircraft. In such a situation, items prohibited for transport in the hold should be removed from the luggage and taken on board, e.g. electronic cigarettes. If you travel only with hand luggage, be sure that it meets the carrier's requirements, otherwise you may be charged the cost of checking it in at Gate. The price for such excess baggage is high. Don't take any chances ;)
